Up For Sale is a RARE Sony LaserMax ViEWSystem LaserDisc Player LDP-2000 + Computer VIW-3020 AS-IS FIRST OF ALL – THE PVM CRT IS NOT INCLUDED – IT WILL BE SOLD SEPARATELY This is basically a LaserDisc player attached to a computer Unfortunately, it seems that the power supply for the computer is bad – I can’t even get the lights on the front of the computer part to light up And while I *was* able to get the LD player working, it seems that it quit working I have a feeling its motor issues as it takes in the disc, tries to spin up a couple times and then kick it out I was able to get it working by giving it a firm smack when its trying to spin up the disc When it works, it worked about the same as any other LD player This is incredibly rare – unsure if you’ll ever find another one on here The LD player part is a little more common, with 3 sold in the last year for around $300 This item is really big and heavy, and packaging will be a hassle.
