eBay 1930s Colorful Scrappy DOUBLE WEDDING RING Quilt 87738 This listing is for a vintage scrappy Double Wedding Ring quilt. Judging by the fabrics used (pastel prints and feedsacks), I would estimate the quilt to have been made during the 1930s. Many of the fabrics are floral. The 4-patch intersections are sage green and yellow. The background and backing resemble unbleached muslin. The quilt measures approximately 88″ X 101″. The edges follow the natural scalloped shape of the design. The binding is pink. The quilt is previously owned. The top appears to have been pieced by hand. The quilting was done by hand. Quilting stitches average 12 stitches per inch, counting both the top and bottom stitches. I have seen no fabric deterioration, holes, or worn spots. There are a few small spots that I have not tried to clean. Some of the pencil marked quilting lines are faintly visible. The quilt appears never to have been laundered. This quilt would make an excellent addition to your collection. I appreciate that buyers would like to buy for the best price possible, but half-price offers are never considered or acknowledged.
